Mural Blessing and benefit for Open Door Cafe

Unveiling of new mural and exhibition
in the Open Door Café at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist 

Friday, February 2, 2018 from 5 PM - 8 PM
831 N. Van Buren St., Milwaukee, WI

"Our mural started with a workshop for community stakeholders - volunteers, guests, staff, community partners and friends of the Café told Tia about our grounding values and experiences we've had at our daily lunch. Along with eating at the Café and talking with our community, Tia encouraged guests and volunteers to help paint. This is truly a community project with the input of many people - including those who donated to the project." ~ Shelly Roder, Outreach Ministries Director

Tia's exhibit called "Community Murals to Inspire the Heart and Soul" will be on display in the Open Door Café from February 2 - May 2, 2018 and will feature images from several of her most popular murals installed throughout Milwaukee.
