For awhile
I went through a turtle period where I really loved drawing
turtles. I felt they had a lyrical cuteness about them.
Lias is an
inquisitive character I made up who regards the world around him
with great curiosity. He asks questions and holds
conversations with his environment - the moon, sun, trees - even
the goldfish jumping in this pond.
Ultimately,
within the livingness of all things, he finds himself again.
